dc.descriptionOn the 29 of may 2021, around 09:40 GMT-3, the Tugboat Observador was helping with the departure maneuver of the Vessel BBC Newcastle, flag of Antigua y Barbuda, near the Km 1,5 of the channel near the southern port of the Mouth of the creek. During the maneuver, the main engine in the port side experimented an unexpeted surge in the turning speed, exceeding the limit set by the manufacturer, with culminated with the rupture and detachment of it's mechanical parts. Due to this incident, a crew member lost his life and the engine room suffered material damages, which left the vessel without governance and propulsion. Due to this situation, after they ask for assistance to the Prefectura Naval Argentina (PNA), the Tugboat Conquistador (Mat. 02267) tow the vessel to the port of the mouth to the creek, where the emergency servicies were able provide assitance to the crew.es
